Cianna Scutero

I am a Chemcial Engineering student at the University of Florida with a strong commitment to using science and technology to make a meaningful impact on the world. Through my role as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Denard Lab, I’ve enjoyed my research aimed at discovering and characterizing molecules that could lead to breakthroughs in treating cancer and other diseases. This experience has solidified my decision to focus on biomolecular engineering and pursure a career where I can contribute to life-saving innovations.  My work as a Teaching Assistant and my time at the University of Florida Health Shands Hospital gift shop have further reinforced my passion for helping others and my belief in the power of humanitarian service. Together, these experiences have fueled my ambition to drive research that addresses global challenges and improve lives.
